Where in the world is Fred?
Fred standing inside the 12th century Angkorian temple called Preah Khan. This translates as 'sacred sword.'
One of my slogans is, "I teach from where I travel?" Sort of like Carmen San Diego or Waldo.
My college teaching is at the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. I have been on faculty as a Professor of Global Art since 1999.
Where I live, that is, the place where I rent a house, is in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I have lived here since 2018. Why here? It's a great place to come home to. It's a great place from where I can explore Asia.
The immediate area where I live is the location of the ancient Empire of the Khmer. Angkor Wat. Below, for the curious among you, is an interactive map. Much more interesting than if I gave you a similar map of Las Vegas, where my college is located.
